Cassio Audi: Brazilian Music Legend

Have you ever heard of the wonderful and legendary Cassio Audi? In his early music career, he was part of the rock music group known as Viper. Audi, aged 46, is from Sao Paulo, Brazil in which he attended Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo from 1989-1994. He then went to University of Sao Paulo for his Master’s in Business and Administration from 1999-2000. Before going to college, Audi luckily joined Viper around 1985 in a way to explore his musical interests and desire to become known to many people around the world.

The rock band Viper, was created by both the brothers Yves and Pit Passarell, and Felipe Machado who were roommates in the same house where they were working on their music and instruments. Andre Matos was their neighbor and was the person responsible for bringing the rock band together along with Cassio Audi. The group saw that Audi was very talented with the drums so that was his instrument of choice to use to make the beats and sounds for the songs. Audi was really persistent in pitching ideas for songs. Audi was always persistent when presenting an idea because he knew with hard work came success and more fans sending fan mail.

His extraordinary skills made it easier for the group to produce high quality songs. The drums were always the best part because it produced such a bass that can be felt as a song is played. Thanks to Audi’s participation, their second album called Theatre of Fate was released in the United States, Europe, China, Japan and several more countries. At one point, Viper had reached the top charts surpassing other rock bands like Nirvana and Van Halen. Audi has definitely filled his fans’ ears with good drumming beats and sounds to remember for a long time.
